Are there any other ways of marketing that can make our wines more likely to be purchased?

We never compromise the customer experience, but by uploading all of the correct wine data to our platform, you can guarantee that the customer will be fully informed. By giving that extra knowledge, you will get repeat customers.

Are there any other marketing tools that give the same return on investment?

Probably not since Wineally for Wine Producers is completely free. 

Why should I make our wine data digitally available to distributors, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and consumers via Wineally?

Wineally is a game-changing tool for both distributors and on- and off-trade customers. With the help of our subscribers, Wineally Ambassadors, and digital marketing we expect to have millions of users in 2021. By 2022 our target is to be the most used wine & dine app globally.

How is our information stored and used?

We store all data on IBM cloud servers. We use the data to help you, subscribing distributors, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets increase sales, and to give consumers better wine & dine experiences.

Is Wineally an online retailer?

No, Wineally does not sell wine. We add value to the existing Wine Eco-system by making it easier to purchase/repurchase and to present/sell wine. We want to support the wine shops, distributors, restaurants and wine producers that have made our industry what it is today.

Will our personal information be shared?

Fine Wine Club International AB, the Wineally product owner, naturally follows GDPR and local data handling. All consumer data collected by Wineally is protected on an individual basis. Anonymous data will be used to make market data, like wine trend reports, available for Wineally subscribers.

Wineally can be used on any web browser, but we recommend that you use one of these 3:

Why should I subscribe to Wineally?

Wineally help waiters recommend wines based on the ordered dishes and the guest’s wine preferences. 

97 % of all restaurant guests (and waiters) do not feel confident when choosing a wine in a restaurant. Wineally gives that extra knowledge and confidence to make it comfortabel comfortable for guests and waiters to purchase/sell wine that will provide an excellent wine & dine experience.

Can Wineally help us sell wine for takeaway?  

Wineally makes it simple for takeaway customers to buy matching wines with their order. Takeaway is not only pizza anymore… The number of people ordering takeaway from fine dining restaurants has grown over the past five years, naturally boosted by the pandemic. The fact that in February 2020 4.294 Michelin Star restaurants now offering takeaway compared to 1.446 in November 2020 shows there is a great potential in the takeaway market. 

In Wineally you can register all the wines and dishes you want to sell for takeaway, with takeaway prices (if desired). 
Wineally web app-users can choose takeaway or eating at the restaurant. If they choose takeaway, they will see the restaurant’s takeaway menu (food/wine) with takeaway prices. They can then check the “match wine”-boxes for each dish to get the best matching wines with or without filtering price, country, grape, etc. Wineally simply makes it easy to get perfect wine & dine experiences wherever you are. 

The target group for restaurant takeaway are people who have the money to spend in a great restaurants but who do not have the option due to the pandemic restrictions. Now they can enjoy great food and wine at home instead. Or those people who would like that special wine that is not available in the local liquor store delivered to their doorstep. 

Offering wine for takeaway also makes it possible for the waiter to ask restaurant guests who loved a certain bottle of wine over dinner, “Would you like a bottle to go?” 

If takeout/takeaway of wine isn’t legal in your country/state, the customers can buy directly from the wine supplier.

Will your restaurant have guests/takeaway customers coming from Wineally?

Yes, you will. We will direct a growing number of purchase-ready Wineally web app-users to your restaurant. By building a Wine Eco-system, we will direct Wineally web app-users from our other client segments, via partnerships, social media, and via all kinds of digital marketing to your restaurant. 
Due to the COVID-19 situation initially local takeaway customers, and of course restaurant guests where it is possible.

Can we automatically update wine lists and convert them to PDFs?

Yes, you can. It's fast and simple. 

Always having an updated wine cellar means an accurate wine list can be updated at any time you want. 

Go to the My Wine Cellar-page from the menu , click on the “Download PDF”-button at the bottom of the page and you will have an updated wine list in a couple of minutes.

Can we integrate Wineally to our POS-system?

Yes, Wineally enables exporting of the wine cellar to upload into POS-systems or accounting systems. Go to My Wine Cellar, click on the “DOWNLOAD EXCEL”-button and you will have an Excel file ready to be uploaded to your cash register or accounting system in a couple of minutes.

Does Wineally have any kind of dashboard?

Yes, navigate to Dashboard in the browser menu where instant information of sales and wine cellar is shown.

In the Dashboard you can have a quick overview of the Digital Sommelier activity, wine sales, gross margins, and bestsellers. You also get a great wine cellar overview on this page.

Will Wineally build consumer data to help restaurants and the wine industry?

Yes, we will. Market data like wines in demand, wines selling well in comparable restaurants, etc. will offer great help when making purchasing decisions for the restaurant and contribute positively to cash flow by not having wines unlikely to sell resting in your stock. 

You are not only helping yourself when you join Wineally as a subscriber. All consumer data collected by Wineally will be converted into trend reports and be available for Wineally subscribers.

With the Wineally web app, or with the help of a waiter using it, consumers can comfortably and simply purchase a bottle of wine - in the restaurant or for takeaway. 

By presenting your wines to guests/takeaway customers, together with perfectly matched dishes, the wines and your restaurant will get the appreciation, ratings, recommendations and purchases they deserve. And we believe great customer experiences leads to returning guests.

In the Wineally web app, the consumer chooses in-dining or takeaway, dishes, and adds their wine preferences of the day (price, grape, country, etc.). Wineally then presents the best available wine according to their preferences and your food, available in your restaurant.

Can Wineally improve our cash flow?

Yes, we can. Wineally makes it simple to offer takeaway, including wine. A great potential for better cash flow. 

When customers are using Wineally, they feel more comfortable with their wine purchasing decision. Comfort equates to increased wine sales, which in turn leads to increased revenues and improve cash flow. We also make it easier for waiters. Can Wineally offer other services?

Fine Wine Club International AB, the product owner of Wineally, is in close partnership with The International Sommelier Association (ASI), building a global network of Wineally Ambassadors. With a Wineally subscription, restaurants can get access to sommeliers/wine consultants offering their services as “Digital sommeliers”. This means that a lot of restaurants can afford a sommelier that does everything a sommelier normally would do, except serving wine to restaurant guests.

What kind of services can a Wineally Ambassador offer?

Wineally Ambassadors working with multiple restaurants can sometimes even get better prices from suppliers.

Can Wineally cut administrative costs?

Wine information from producers is in most cases handled manually by wine distributors but it is easy to download in Wineally, and then upload to your database or software, such as accounting programs. 

We can save on the laborious and often chaotic task of filing individual supplier tech sheets. With Wineally, the tech sheets are all there, ready for you to use. Just ask your wine producers to join Wineally by subscribing to Wineally for Wine Producers (free of charge) and register their wines. 

The wine information from all your producers (with a Wineally subscription) can be downloaded in an Excel file and then uploaded to your database, web shop, and accounting system.

Can Wineally make our wines more likely to be purchased wherever they are sold (in our online or brick-and-mortar wine shop, in restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets)?

Yes, we can. When you register your wines in your Wineally account, each wine will instantly get a Wineally Wine-DNA. When you have registered (inspirational) dishes, each dish will get a Wineally Dish-DNA. 

Our gigantic database and our algorithm, developed and quality guaranteed by some of the world’s best sommeliers, will always recommend the best matching dish on the “menu” where your wines are sold. 

Consumers using the Wineally web app can choose your wine shop and start with a dish and get the best matching wines recommended. Consumers using the Wineally web app can also use the filter (price, country, grape, etc.) to find a wine in your wine shop and then get recommended dishes to match the wine with. All orders will be placed by the customer directly in your wine shop or web shop. Wineally does not sell any wines.

Are there any first mover advantages?

First movers will get a bigger part of the initial customers directed to them since there are fewer choices for the Wineally web app-user.

No, we do not. We simply add value to the existing eco-system by simplifying and personalizing wine purchases. 
All direct orders and payments go to you. Wineally will never sell wine. What we do, and will do, is to help you, and your on-trade customers, sell your wines.

How should I compare the cost for a Wineally subscription to other marketing and sales costs?  

We think of Wineally not as pure marketing. In most cases, your monthly subscription fee is more than financed by reduced costs for handling wine data and more cost-effective Horeca sales. The full potential of increased revenues, contribution margin, cost cuts due to digitizing administration and the bottom line result depends on your business.

What is the annual Wineally subscription fee for Wine Merchants?

The monthly Wineally subscription fee for Wine Merchants is €1,000. Discounts are available if you pay for 3, 6 or 12 months.

Do we need to make any IT-investments?

No, you do not. 

How long does it take to get started?

The simplicity of the Wineally business system, tutorial films and self-explanatory PDF’s means your onboarding process will be very quick. As part of the signup process you will be given an initial one-hour digital presentation of the business system for your team by a Wineally representative. To register your account with 10 users it takes approximately 15 minutes. 

If your wines are already registered in Wineally by your wine producers (highly recommended) a wine takes approximately 15 seconds to register. 

If your wines have not already been registered in Wineally by your wine producers a wine takes approximately 2 minutes to register. 

Since it will take most wine producers less than one hour to register all their wines for the last vintages, we therefore recommend that you ask your wine producers* to register their wines (free of charge). 

* Wine producers not likely to register their wines can just register a (free of charge) account here: Wineally for Wine Producers. We will then register the wine information for them. 

How do we get our restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets to subscribe to Wineally?

You can attend one of our 30-minute digital presentations where we show you how to help your Horeca customers increase their/your sales. Then help them subscribe and get going. 

You can always direct them to Wineally for Restaurants where all restaurant benefits are presented.

How can Wineally make it simpler for our customers to purchase wine in our supermarket, online and in stores?

When you register your wines in your Wineally account each wine will instantly get a Wineally Wine-DNA. When you register dish recipes they will get a Wineally Dish-DNA. 

Our gigantic database and our algorithm, developed and quality guaranteed by some of the world’s best sommeliers, will always recommend the best matching dish on your supermarket “menu”. 

Consumers using the Wineally web app can choose your supermarket and start with a dish and get the best matching wines recommended. 

Consumers using the Wineally web app can also use the filters (price, country, grape, etc.) to find a wine in your supermarket and then get recommended dishes matching the wine. 

All orders will be placed by the customer directly in your supermarket or on your website.

Will we have customers sourced from Wineally?

Yes, you will. Since most consumers aren’t food and wine pairing experts, we believe the Wineally web app will be highly appreciated. 

Wineally web app-users can naturally only get great wine & dish recommendations to guide their purchases in restaurants, wine shops, supermarkets, and hotels that are a part of the Wineally universe. 

We will direct a growing number of purchase-ready Wineally web app-users, coming from our other client segments, via partnerships, social media, and digital marketing, to your supermarket. 

When we launch Wineally globally, all consumers using the Wineally web app in your local area, will find your supermarket. The more Wineally web app-users there are, the more customers will visit your supermarket and more profitable you will become.

Example: A customer using Wineally buys a wine in a wine shop and matches it with available dishes in the wine shop. The dish can then have a link to the recipe on your website. The ingredients can be screen printed by the customer and used as a shopping list in your supermarket/online.

Even when the sommelier is at another table, rest assured with Wineally it’s like having the sommelier in right in your phone or tablet. 

Where can I use the Wineally web app?

Wineally can be used in all restaurants, wine shops and supermarkets that have joined Wineally. We’ve made the design of the interface for all to look the same, so no matter the situation you know that choosing a wine to match your dish with, will always be easy.

Does Wineally use AI to create the wine and food pairings?

No, we do not. Our gigantic database and algorithm have been developed by a team of wine professionals, including some of the best sommeliers in the world. We’ve invested well in excess of 23,000 development hours to get it right. We guarantee it’s always a perfect match. Because real experts have entered the wine information to form what we call the Wineally Wine-DNA, and they are also the people that have done the same for the food, creating the Wineally Dish-DNA. It’s a simple recipe. You take real experts plus your preferences and it equals the perfect match.

How can I use Wineally when buying takeaway or visiting a restaurant?  

Follow the steps below: 

STEP 1: Go to the Restaurants tab. 
STEP 2: Select Takeaway or Eat in. 
STEP 3: Search for a restaurant or see restaurants near you. 
STEP 4: Choose dishes and check the “Match wine” boxes on the dishes you want to find a matching wine to. 
STEP 5: Add your wine preferences (price, grape, country, etc.). 
STEP 6: Click on “SHOW WINES” and select the wine you would like. 
STEP 7: Order in restaurant (if dining-in), from the restaurant's website or a home delivery platform (for takeaway). 
STEP 8: Enjoy the perfect match!

How can I use Wineally when buying wine from a wine shop or supermarket?

You have 2 ways to proceed. Start by the food you want to enjoy with the wine or start with the wine and let us recommend some pairings to enjoy with it. 

Starting with dish: 
STEP 1: Go to the Wine shops / Supermarket tab. 
STEP 2: Choose an available Wine shop/Supermarket that you can visit or is able to order from online. 
STEP 3: Choose dishes and check the “Match wine” boxes on the dishes you want to find a matching wine for. 
STEP 4: Add your wine preferences (price, grape, country, etc.). 
STEP 5: Click on the “SHOW WINES”-button and select the wine you want to buy. 
STEP 6: Click on “Add bottle”. 
STEP 7: See your food and wine “Order” at the top. 
STEP 8: Order the number of bottles you want to buy (from the Wine shop/Supermarket or online). 
STEP 9: Enjoy! 

Starting with wine: 
STEP 1: Go to the Wine shops / Supermarket tab. 
STEP 2: Choose an available Wine shop/Supermarket that you can visit or is able to order from online.
